Los Alamos County Tourism Implementation Task Force Deadline To Submit Application Extended To Tuesday Sept.1
COUNTY News:
The Los Alamos County Council is still seeking members for the Tourism Implementation Task Force.
The deadline for letters of interest has been extended to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1.
The Council recently reauthorized the Tourism Implementation Task Force and renewed its charter through April 2022. The Task Force, initially formed in 2018, provides guidance and expertise to the Council and County staff on tourism implementation issues.

SBA: Businesses Eligible For Economic Injury Disaster Loans

Small nonfarm businesses in 10 New Mexico counties and neighboring counties in Texas are now eligible to apply for low‑interest federal disaster loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration, announced Director Tanya N. Garfield of SBA’s Disaster Field Operations Center-West.
These loans offset economic losses because of reduced revenues caused by drought in the following primary counties that began July 14.
