SANTA FE — Today, Gov. Susana Martinez announced that Seamless Medical Systems, a high-tech start-up company, is creating up to 30 new jobs in the next two years with an average annual salary of $90,000.

New Mexico Rep. Deborah Armstrong, D-Bernalillo, is working to ensure men and women get equal pay in New Mexico.
She introduced a bill, which would amend the state procurement code to provide extra points in the bidding process to companies, seeking to work with the state, that demonstrate a practice of paying equal wages to men and women who do the same work.

New Mexico Breaks Another Record In Export Growth

ALBUQUERQUE—Gov. Susana Martinez has announced a record-breaking year of export growth in New Mexico.
The state’s total exports set an all-time high in 2014, increasing by more than $1 billion compared to 2013 figures. Exports to Mexico also set an all-time high of $1.549 billion, nearly doubling in one year. The U.S. Department of Commerce estimates that every $1 billion in export revenue supports or creates 6,250 jobs.

Los Alamos High School graduate Jennifer Martin has much to celebrate. Not only is her company, Xynergy, Inc. marking its 20th anniversary, but it is opening its third location in Taos Monday.
Martin graduated from LAHS in 1988, founded Xynergy in 1994 and her company built the Intranet for Los Alamos National Laboratory from 2006 to 2009, she said.
