LACDC Board Accepts Scott Randall’s Resignation

LACDC News:

Last Thursday, as had been reported in the local press, Los Alamos Commerce and Development (LACDC) Executive Director Scott Randall was arrested in Los Alamos on misdemeanor charges (DUI and domestic battery). Click here for background.

In an effort to minimize any impact this might have on the LACDC, Randall promptly offered the LACDC Board his resignation, effective immediately.

Monday afternoon, the full Board met to review the situation and voted to accept Randall’s resignation, despite his excellent performance to date.

Members of the Los Alamos Commerce and Development Corporation Board of Directors are meeting today to decide the course of action they will take with regard to Executive Director Scott Randall.

Randall, who turned 59 years old Sunday, was arrested by Los Alamos police early Friday morning and charged with domestic battery and DUI. He has been executive director of the LACDC for about 14 months.

Los Alamos Police arrested the executive director of the Los Alamos Commerce and Development Corporation (LACDC) overnight and charged him with domestic battery and DUI.

Scott Randall, 58, attended a tourism event with his wife at Buffalo Thunder that ran 5-7 p.m. where alcohol was served and left the hotel at about 11 p.m. to return to Los Alamos.
