LAHS Holds Career Fair

LAHS News:

The Guidance Department of Los Alamos High School will host a Career Fair 6-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 25 in A Wing at the LAHS.

More than 50 career options will be represented by local employers and employees. 

Students are invited to meet with an accountant, engineer, equestrian, lawyer, doctor, and pharmacist, to name a few. Students will be able to meet with up to six representatives in 20-minute sessions during the evening. Refreshments will be served.

Los Alamos County Extends Branding Contract

Los Alamos County Administrator Harry Burgess told the Los Alamos Daily Post in an email Thursday that the County has granted a one-year extension on the contract for a branding initiative study for Los Alamos.

The extension does not include an increase in compensation for consultant North Star Destination Strategies, Inc. of Nashville, Tenn. The $50,000 contract for brand development is a part of the County’s Economic Development Division’s Read More
