CHAMBER News:

Due to New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s declaration of a state of emergency, the Chamber Business Breakfast scheduled for Thursday, March 12, at UNM-LA has been canceled.

The governor declared a state of emergency this morning during a press conference at which she and the New Mexico Department of Health announced that three New Mexico residents tested presumptive positive for COVID-19, and announced that all out of state travel has been halted for state employees.

The state will be canceling all large public events that they have control over and are urging the private sector to do the same. As an example, Dist. 43 House Rep. Christine Chandler of Los Alamos made the decision to cancel the breakfast.

The Chamber apologizes for any inconvenience and hopes to reschedule the Legislative update at a future date.
