COUNTY News:

The recent significant rain has caused delays to the Central Avenue Improvements Project. In order to maintain the project schedule and increase safety along the section of Central Avenue currently under construction, a change to the traffic control plan was required.

Therefore, effective at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, Central Avenue between the Post Office entrance and 15th Street has been fully closed and will remain closed for the next 4-6 weeks.
 
Access to the Post Office will be maintained and a pedestrian crossing will be located near Starbucks. Vehicles will be detoured to Deacon Street using the same night work traffic control that has been in effect. The Main Street driveway into Central Park Square will also be closed to traffic, use Central Park Square access points from 15th Street or Nectar.
