The account the Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce set up at Enterprise Bank & Trust to help the seven businesses broken into and vandalized in the early morning of Saturday, March 28, closes at 5 p.m. today.
Be sure to note “LA Small Business Support Fund” in deposit requests for this account at the bank.
After 5 p.m. today, all funds contributed by the community to this account will be divided equally between these seven businesses:
- China Palace;
- Daniel’s Cafe;
- Gracie Barra Los Alamos Brazilian Jiu Jitsu;
- Petree Garden Center and Florist;
- Subway;
- Top Nail Salon; and
- Viola’s.
Note: This account is created to help the businesses directly. Do not confuse this account with the LA Crime Stopper reward account set up to encourage information leading to the identity or arrest of the culprits who burglarized these businesses.
Small businesses all over Los Alamos are facing the challenges from the COVID-19 restrictions. But these seven businesses now face the additional financial hardship of insurance deductibles and repairs. These businesses are a valuable part of our community and need our support.
The Los Alamos community stands in solidarity with these business owners against this crime. Please join the Los Alamos Commerce & Development Corporation (LACDC), the Los Alamos Chamber and Los Alamos MainStreet in supporting these businesses during this difficult time.
Thank you for supporting our local businesses.
