COMMUNITY News:Chamisa Elementary will be hosting their fourth annual Glow Run at 7 p.m., Saturday May 14.
Some changes have been made this year, including a lowering of the entry fee, water bottles for the first 100 entrants in lieu of t-shirts, and we will start the 5k runners before the 1 mile racers. The race will begin and end at Chamisa Elementary in White Rock, 301 Meadow Dr. The 5k will begin promptly at 7 p.m. Racers will follow the Meadow/Rover/Meadow Loop around White Rock.
The one mile racers will take off shortly thereafter and will run down Meadow to the Overlook Park entrance, then turn around and head back towards Chamisa with a side trip through Joya Loop. Like last year, racers will receive a glow necklace and there will be a short party with music afterwards.
