What is blooming now on the Pajarito Plateau? Join Pajarito Environmental Education Center’s Jemez Mountain Herbarium Curator Chick Keller at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 2 for an easy walk to identify local wildflower species.
This last wildflower walk of the season is free and no advance registration is required. Participants receive a plant list that, along with instruction from Keller, will help them learn how to identify the late blooming wildflowers in Los Alamos.
The group meets at 5:30 p.m. at the Los Alamos Nature Center at 2600 Canyon Road to carpool to the trailhead.
