Los Alamos Public Schools Board Member Christine Bernstein files for re-election this morning in the Municipal Building. Bernstein is running in District 3. She said she is running for re-election because, ‘I’m not done’. Bernstein explained work has started on developing the school district’s strategic plan and she would like to see the plan come to its fruition. ‘I think we are doing really good work toward innovative and productive changes in our district (but) it is slow, and it takes some time and I want to see it finished,’ Bernstein said, adding, ‘My passion for education has not waned.’ Photo by Kirsten Laskey/ladailypost.com
