COUNTY News:

Los Alamos County Community Services Department (CSD) will be hosting public meetings Sept. 23, at Pinon Park and then following at 37th Street Play Lot.

These meetings will be held in person at the following times and locations detailed below with the consultant and the Community Services Department present. These playgrounds were noted in the Integrated Master Plan as needing to be upgraded and  meet Americans with Disabilities Act standards.

The community is invited to each site on this day to provide input on amenities and themes for the playgrounds. The focus of the onsite meetings is to listen to the community about playground needs and amenities.

Details:

• 8:30-10:30 a.m. at Pinon Park (White Rock); and
• 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 37th Street Play Lot (Los Alamos). 

After the listening sessions, the consultant will provide a couple of schematic designs to be vetted with the community at a future date this fall or early winter.
