LACW News:
The Los Alamos Community Winds (LACW) will present its Fall Celebration Concert 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14 p.m. at the Crossroads Bible Church at 97 East Road in Los Alamos.
The varied concert program will feature Charles Ives’ Variations on America, Ottorino Respighi’s La Boutique Fanasque, and Paul Creston’s Celebration Overture, along with five other selections.
Admission to the concert is free. A donation at the door of $10 per guest is suggested.
LACW is an award-winning volunteer concert band made up of members of the Los Alamos and northern New Mexico community. LACW includes amateur and professional musicians of all ages and backgrounds. For the past 23 years, LACW has provided more than 150 free concerts to the public.
