COUNTY News:

The Customer Care Center at the Los Alamos County Department of Public Utilities will be closed 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesday. 

Work on the billing, cashiering and property tax software will occur after being postponed in May so essential computer systems will be down all day.

Customer Care staff will be available for limited operations 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. before closing to participate in team building in the afternoon.

Customer Care Center staff will respond to calls and emails received during the closure when they return to their desks Wednesday. Additionally, any payments received Tuesday will be posted the next day.
