COUNTY News:
The location for Saturday’s family day open house event hosted by the N.M. 4 pipeline project contractor is not the construction yard on N.M. 4 and is not in Totavi … it is the Tewa Market & Gas Station at the corner of N.M. 4 and Rover Boulevard in White Rock – see new map above.
The community is invited to learn what it takes to construct a 3.5-mile water transmission pipeline along N.M. 4. Wagner Construction, contractor to the Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities (DPU), will host this informal family day event noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 19.
Equipment enthusiasts and infrastructure fanatics are welcome to stop by and check out all the vehicles and equipment. Feel free to give the tires a kick, climb aboard, or just stand back to admire the durability and design of the modern construction machines.
Wagner Construction, Inc., is a Minnesota-based company that was awarded the contract for Los Alamos County’s N.M. 4 Water Transmission Line Replacement/Fiber Conduit Installation Project.
The project site extends along N.M. 4 from Rover Boulevard to N.M. 502. With most of the pipeline in place well ahead of the original schedule, Wagner’s crews are looking forward to a moment to connect with the community they’ve been situated in since February.
