At tonight’s County Council meeting in Council Chambers, Housing Programs Manager Paul Andrus discusses the sale of the County-owned real property near the corner of Rover Boulevard and N.M. 4 in White Rock to Del Norte Credit Union in the amount of $452,000. Del Norte Credit Union intends to construct a new credit union building on the property. Following Andrus’ presentation, Council voted 5-0 to approve the sale of the property consisting of tracts J-2 and JA. Councilor Rick Reiss attended this evening’s meeting via telephone and commended Del Norte Credit Union for investing in the community. Councilors Kristin Henderson and David Izraelevitz were absent.
