Council Tentatively Approves Assessor’s Office Budget

County Council tentatively approved 7-0 the FY2022 budget for the County Assessor’s Office during its Monday night budget hearing. The County Assessor’s office proposed FY2022 budget is $691,921, which is 3 percent higher than the FY2021 budget. County Assessor Ken Milder, bottom, reported the reasons for the increase is primarily attributed to salaries, employee benefits and interfund services, which includes vehicle maintenance and general insurance.
