COUNTY News:
Los Alamos County Parks Division and Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) partnered together to remove unsightly graffiti on the parking lot and wall near the Los Alamos County Ice Rink, during the week of July 22.
The space is shared by LANL as an access point and used by the Ice Rink as overflow parking.
During the summer months, teens and young adults like to hang out in the parking lot and the wall has become a space that is commonly tagged.
With the darker paint applied to cover up the old graffiti, there are hopes that it will deter any future vandalism.
