David Griggs

Since retiring from Los Alamos County in September 2013, David Griggs has been traveling the world.

Along the way, he joined a South American Rotary Club so when he returned to Los Alamos for a visit earlier this month, Griggs attended a local Rotary meeting at the Bathtub Row Brewing Co-op.

Griggs has been submitting columns of his travels to the Los Alamos Daily Post for publication for two years. He stopped by the Los Alamos Daily Post newspaper office Oct. 1 to catch up with the news team before leaving the next morning for the Kingdom of Morocco.

Morocco is a country in the Maghreb region of North Africa and a place Griggs said he has always wanted to visit. He plans to spend about two month in the region and intends to share photos and a column about his adventure soon.
