Due to unforeseen issues, officials with the Los Alamos County Environmental Services division regret to inform residents that the Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) collection program, scheduled for today, June 1, has been postponed until Saturday, June 8.
Environment Services Division officials apologize for the inconvenience.
The Eco Station offers residents an opportunity to safely dispose of a wide range of household hazardous waste, including but not limited to items such as paint, batteries, chemicals, Aerosol Spray Cans, Automotive Fluids, Corrosives, Cleaners, Photographic Flammable Solvents, Fuels, Items Containing Mercury, Oxidizers, Fertilizers, Pool Chemicals, Paints, Finishes, Stains, Pesticides, and Herbicides.
Los Alamos County residents who already pay for curbside roll cart collection services are eligible for this program. The HHW collection services are provided 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. once monthly at the Eco Station.
