The Comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-Atlas) is visible due east above the mountains next to Santa Fe, just before sunrise, between 6-6:15 this morning. By next week it will be even better in the evening sky. It is magnitude 1, but you need binoculars to see it with your eyes. This photo was taken with a ¼ second exposure, Nikon Z7 camera, 200 mm lens at f/4, ISO1600. To learn more about this comet, visit skyandtelescope.org.
