SANTA FE — The Del Norte LOV (Living Our Vision) Foundation, an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization associated with Del Norte Credit Union (DNCU), has announced the seven nonprofit organization recipients of its 2025 Spring Community Grant-Making Program.
Each nonprofit organization grantee will receive $2,500 in charitable funds towards their programming for a total investment of $17,500 to the community.
The Del Norte LOV Foundation, with the help of its DNCU Employee Foundation Committee, reviewed 38 applications submitted during the spring cycle’s request for proposal period. The Committee identified organizations committed to improving the lives of youth and families in New Mexico in the program impact areas of at-risk youth, arts & culture, community enrichment, education & S.T.E.M.
2025 Spring Cycle Community Grant-Making Program Recipients
At-Risk Youth grant awards:
- Gerard’s House to support their Healing Through Connection: Supporting Grieving Youth with Art and Community Program
- Global Give A Book, Inc. to support their STEM Literacy Project for APS Title I Homeless Children Program
- Scott’s House Inc. to support their Free Extended Respite and Hospice Care to Support Families With At-Risk Youth Program
Arts & Culture grant award:
- Santa Fe Indigenous Center to support their Honoring Native Nations Powwow on the Santa Fe Plaza Community Enrichment Project
Community Enrichment grant awards:
- Many Mothers to support their Family Center and Peer Support Group Support Program
- The Pojoaque Valley Schools Education Foundation to support their Student Tutoring: Building Bridges Program
Education & STEM grant award:
- Cooking with Kids, Inc. to support their Cooking with Kids-Del Norte LOV Foundation Classroom Program
“The Del Norte LOV Foundation is committed to living our vision by supporting organizations that are addressing critical needs in the communities we serve,” explained Del Norte LOV Foundation Director Connie Tooker Nuñez. “We are thrilled to come alongside these seven nonprofits that are improving lives and making a positive impact throughout New Mexico!”
Funding for the 2025 Del Norte LOV Foundation Community Grant-Making program is a combination of DNCU donations, public donations, and Teen Day Tuesday funds, which is the DNCU employee payroll deduction giving initiative.
