ESPAÑOLA — As part of its annual recognition of outstanding organizations and businesses in northern New Mexico, the Journal North has announced its 2021 Reader’s Choice Award recipients.
Del Norte Credit Union (DNCU) is a first place winner in five categories related to financial products and services.
DNCU Reader’s Choice Awards Include:
- Best Credit Union
- Best Bank
- Best Mortgage Lender
- Best Auto Loan
- Best Financial Planner
DNCU President and CEO Chuck Valenti said, “this recognition is extra special for a year like no other, and I appreciate the many front-line staff that continued providing our members with outstanding service while keeping everyone safe during the pandemic … our team at DNCU has overcome challenges and worked hard to balance the safety of members and employees alike.”
Results were based on votes in the publication’s “Readers’ Choice” awards, which include a wide variety of voting categories such as dining, health and beauty, media, non-profits and services in the region.
“Being recognized as a leader in our field this year is especially rewarding given the challenges of delivering services to our community during COVID-19,” DNCU Chief Marketing Officer Kim Currie said. “We have learned so many valuable lessons in service delivery and other areas during the pandemic and we’re going to carry that new knowledge into the post-pandemic environment to guarantee future member satisfaction and support.”
