- This will make it the credit union’s second location in Rio Arriba County
Española — Del Norte Credit Union (DNCU), New Mexico’s hometown financial cooperative continues to grow and expand its reach with the purchase of land at 1720 N. Riverside Dr. in Española.
This will be the second location serving member-owners living in Rio Arriba County and is scheduled to open late fourth quarter of 2020.
“To more fully support the Española community our volunteer board of directors and the leadership team is opening a second branch in Rio Arriba County. This will allow us to improve the lives of more people in the northern part of the state,” DNCU President/CEO Chuck Valenti said. “As a credit union that has received A+ ratings from Bauer Financial and has been named among the top credit unions in the nation by DepositAccounts.com, we are proud to increase our commitment to the Española valley. With this second branch and our operations center here, we truly are a local financial institution.”
According to VP of Service Delivery, Eric Baldonado, “helping members make better financial decisions is always our number one priority.”
