DNCU News:

As more information from The Center for Disease Control (CDC) and The New Mexico Department of Health is received about the recent outbreak of the novel COVID-19 virus in New Mexico, Del Norte Credit Union, (DNCU), believes it is important to communicate to its members the appropriate steps they are taking to continue keeping its members, employees and communities safe.

“As we get through these difficult times together, have some peace-of-mind knowing that your local Del Norte Credit Union is financially solid and your funds are fully backed by the full faith and credit of the United States government through the National Credit Union Administration,” DNCU President/CEO Chuck Valenti said. “To learn more about DNCU’s financial strength visit NCUA.gov and use our charter # 64759.”

One of the recommendations by the by The Center for Disease Control (CDC), in addition to practicing good personal hygiene, is to avoid close contact with people in general (they call it social distancing).

Customers should remember that they can use DNCU’s free online banking, mobile banking and deposit services, any of its nearly 30,000 surcharge free ATMs throughout the country (visit DNCU.org for a complete listing of locations), its 24 X 7 call center (505.455.5228), night deposits, or Tellerphone (505.455.0600) services if they do not want to visit one of DNCU’s six branches.

If customers do visit a branch, they should keep in mind that they can use the drive-through options instead of entering the branch. To get started with DNCU’s free online and mobile banking platforms visit dncu.org or call 505.455.5228 to learn more about how to take control of DNCU accounts right from a mobile device.

In order to ensure continued excellent member service during this challenging time DNCU has implemented temporary changes to its hours of operations.

Starting Monday, March 16,  all Del Norte Credit Union locations will have set banking hours 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Offices at 40 Rover Blvd. in White Rock and at 501 Guadalupe St. in Santa Fe will offer drive-through services only.
