COUNTY News:

A power outage occurred at around 8 a.m. today impacting Circuit 13, which includes about 1,300 electric customers.

Electric journeymen-linemen from the Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities (DPU) responded to the outage, which was caused by an overhead line fault near the Timber Ridge neighborhood.

Circuit 13 includes the Western Area down to the vicinity of Ashley Pond, as well as the Pajarito Mountain Ski Hill.

The area from Ashley Pond through Timber Ridge was reenergized by 9 a.m. Power was restored to the remainder of customers at around 9:40 a.m. today.
