COUNTY News:

The Los Alamos County Department of Public Utilities (DPU) has announced that power has been restored to the Elk Ridge community along East Jemez Road.

DPU electric crews replaced blown fuses there and said they believe the outage was the result of a tree branch hitting a power line.

The outage on Barranca Mesa remains under repair.
