Dr. Anna Voltura Appointed Chair Of HER2 Foundation Board

HER2 News:

SANTA FE — The HER2 Foundation, a New Mexico-based nonprofit dedicated to advancing healing through art and supporting those affected by metastatic breast cancer, proudly announces the appointment of Dr. Anna Voltura as Chair of its Board of Directors.

Dr. Voltura is a fellowship-trained breast surgical oncologist, educated at both Johns Hopkins University and the University of New Mexico. She practices in Santa Fe, where she has long combined compassionate care with a commitment to the emotional well-being of her patients.

When Dr. Voltura opened her office, artist and “artivist” Jacqueline Rudolph created a collection of 15 vibrant impressionist portraits of iconic women celebrities who have survived breast cancer to adorn the clinic’s walls. This powerful body of work—“Women Warriors”—has since become the cornerstone of the HER2 Foundation’s mission to place healing art in breast cancer clinics across the country.

Dr. Voltura will lead the Foundation alongside fellow board members Ava Stern, Joyce Bogosian, and Jacqueline Rudolph. “We are committed to driving greater awareness of metastatic breast cancer,” Dr. Voltura said, “and supporting the women going through the complex treatment protocols.”

Each painting in the Women Warriors series is visually striking and emotionally empowering— designed to uplift patients and celebrate resilience through bold, radiant imagery.

A selection from the Women Warriors series will be on display at Art Santa Fe, held at the Sweeney Convention Center July 11–13. Visit Booth #419, hosted by Artemis Art Management—representing Jacqueline Rudolph’s work—to view several portraits in the collection and learn more about the Foundation’s vision.
