Resiliency, Energy and Sustainability Task Force
Our Los Alamos Resiliency, Energy and Sustainability (LARES) Task Force has spent the last year researching and writing recommendations on how our County can achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions and prepare for climate change.
The presentation of our final report will occur at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22.
The Council will also vote on whether to include our budget requests (for a Sustainability Coordinator, a GHG inventory, and a Climate Action Plan, among other items) in the County budget, which is crucial to getting this work done!
You can read the full LARES Final Report here.
