ECECD News:
The New Mexico Early Childhood Education and Care Department (ECECD) has announced the Child Care Stabilization Grant.
This grant opportunity is made possible via the American Rescue Plan Act, which includes federal funding for New Mexico to invest in its child care system to ensure child care providers are economically stable and that safe, high quality, and affordable child care is available for all families.
The Child Care Stabilization Grant is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to receive significant financial assistance after the COVID-19 pandemic.
ECECD is offering eligible child care providers throughout New Mexico the chance to apply for Stabilization Grants through Oct. 1.
Stabilization Grants provide FREE financial assistance to eligible child care providers, the application is simple and available online, and the administrative burdens placed on providers are few.
