At their April 13 meeting, the Los Alamos Kiwanis hosted Abby Vollans, a fourth grader at Aspen School and Treasurer of the K-Kids, a Kiwanis sponsored student service club. The community is invited to enjoy an evening of arts and music at the annual Arts & Music Festival hosted by Los Alamos Public Schools (LAHS). This event will take place at 5 p.m., Thursday, April 23, at LAHS 1300 Diamond Drive.
The evening will include concerts by elementary, middle school and high school choirs as well as band and orchestra performances. The LAMS and LAHS jazz bands will also perform, along with several groups from the Jazz Project.

Registration for UNM-Los Alamos (UNM-LA) summer and fall 2026 semesters is now open. Registration runs through June 5 for the summer and Aug. 28 for the fall, but is highly encouraged before the start of classes. The summer semester starts June 1 and the fall semester starts Aug. 17.
