Santa Fe Community College (SFCC) announces Graduation Ceremony for EPA Environmental Technician Training 10 a.m. to noon, Friday, April 28 at Santa Fe Higher Education Center.
Details:
- Who: Eleven graduates, who will be job-ready upon completion of the program. They will have up to nine industry certifications after completing the intensive five-week training.

The Los Alamos Police Department will sponsor the next Los Alamos Middle School Hawk Hangout.
This will be a fun event for police officers to engage with local 7th & 8th grade youth,” Deputy Chief Oliver Morris said. “We hope to encourage our Los Alamos parents to let their middle school students attend this event at SALA 3:30-5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 27.
There will be games, fun, a movie and short educational material to teach youth the dangers of modern drug trends.

LAHS Tennis Competes At Albuquerque Academy Tourney
The Los Alamos High School tennis team competed April 7-8 in the Albuquerque Academy Tournament. The boys team placed 2nd in the tournament. They had wins over Belen, Robertson and Cibola and lost to Albuquerque Academy in the finals (1-8). The girls team also competed in the Albuquerque Academy tournament and placed 8th.
