We have been discussing the topic of grief and how it is a natural and normal healing process from any type of loss.
Grief is the process of redefining one’s self after loss into the new situation and definition of who that person is now.

UNM-LA is offering a one credit hour, online course starting the week of March 23 on the history of Los Alamos. In History 220: Studies in History, Instructor Heather McClenahan will recount stories and information she learned while working for 15 years at the Los Alamos Historical Society.
Course topics will provide an overview of Los Alamos history. Students will examine the ancient history of the Pajarito Plateau, including material on the Ancestral Pueblo people and how fire has changed the landscape over the years.

Earlier today, Gov. Michele Lujan Grisham declared a public health emergency in New Mexico.
In order to be proactive in our community, the Los Alamos Public Schools is taking the following steps to continue regular school operations while reducing the threat of infection.
Effective immediately:
- School-sponsored staff and student travel outside of New Mexico is cancelled;
