Cynthia Rooney has been appointed to serve as the full-time interim executive director of the UNM-Los Alamos campus announced by Provost Chaouki Abdallah.
Rooney, who is currently the dean of Instruction at UNM-Los Alamos, begins her new duties Aug. 1.

The class has several activities planned including a Beer Mixer Friday night at Bathtub Row Brewing Co-op, a tour of Los Alamos High School Saturday morning, golfing Saturday, dinner and dance at Buffalo Thunder Resort Saturday night, and lunch/hike Sunday at Pajarito ski hill.
