Coronado Historic Site’s Ranger Anthony will demonstrate different gardening techniques 10:30 a.m.- noon Wednesday, April 30. Public Education Department Approves Re-Envisioned High School Mathematics Pathways

SANTA FE — The New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) announced the approval of re-envisioned high school mathematics pathways and courses.  

Mathematics pathways are sequences of math courses designed to align with students’ academic interests and career goals.

NHCC Visual Art Museum To Reopen April 25

The National Hispanic Cultural Center (NHCC) is thrilled to announce that the Visual Art Museum will reopen to the public Friday, April 25, following a closure caused by a water leak in the museum Jan. 16.

No artwork in the building was damaged, and the NHCC is grateful to the construction and repair teams who worked to quickly contain the leak and repair the building after the incident.

Deadline Approaching For Los Alamos Department Of Public Utilities Essay Contest

The Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities (DPU) is conducting an essay contest for high school students as part of an effort organized by Utah Associated Municipal Power Systems (UAMPS).

A local student may receive sponsorship to attend a summer leadership camp and scholarship program in Idaho called the ICUA Youth Rally, but only if they get their essay submitted no later than May 2.
