The 8th grade girls and boys cross country teams each won first place at Wednesday’s Albuquerque Academy Invitational.
The girls team placed their top five runners in the top 11 overall to beat out Desert Ridge Middle School, and the boys team took the top five spots overall for their second consecutive perfect score.
The 7th grade teams also ran well, placing second in the boys race and third in the girls race.
