SANTA FE — A new study of “Medicaid Forward”, a proposed plan to provide quality, affordable health care plans on an income-based sliding scale, projects that between 407,000 and 542,000 New Mexicans would select the plan, including up to 142,000 uninsured.

New Mexico Governor Orders Flags To Half-Staff In Mourning Of Former Gov. Bill Richardson Sept. 7 to Sept. 14
SANTA FE – Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham has ordered all flags in the state of New Mexico to half-staff from Sept. 7 to Sept. 14 in mourning for former New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, who died Friday.

SANTA FE — The New Mexico Tourism Department (NMTD) is setting a new standard for how it supports beautification and litter reduction efforts of New Mexico communities for fiscal year 2024.
NMTD is setting a new record for program participants and allocated funds for its Clean and Beautiful Grant Program in FY24 with a total of 59 entities set to receive $906,958 in grant funding. Prior to FY24, the record for awarded grant funds through this program came in FY23 when NMTD awarded $790,801 to 45 entities.
