2018 Primary Election Coming Down Home Stretch … Polls Close At 7 p.m. Today!

A steady stream of voters enters the Los Alamos County Municipal Building today for the 2018 Primary Election. As of about 3:30 p.m., 774 Democrats, 9 Libertarians and 348 Republicans cast ballots so far today. The grand total of ballots cast so far in this election is 2,950 compared to 2,887 at this time in the 2014 election. A burst of voters is expected between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. today. Today is Primary Election Day 2018 and the polls are open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. in Los Alamos and White Rock.

Absentee ballots are due in the County Clerk’s Office by 7 p.m., at the Municipal Building at 1000 Central Ave.
