Dr. Machen graduated from Boston University with degrees in English and Sociology/Anthropology, and earned a PhD in English from UNM. Council Approves Changes To Financial Policies
County Council voted 4-3 this evening to approve financial policy changes to the general fund, including dropping general fund reserves to 20 percent from 25 percent, moving the warning for reserves to 15 percent and consolidating those funds into one fund. Councilors James Chrobocinski, David Izraelevitz, Pete Sheehey and Chair Rick Reiss voted for the measure.
