DPNM Files Public Records Request for Martinez DA Files
STATE News:
Pursuant to the New Mexico Inspection of Public Records Act, Democratic Party of New Mexico Chairman Sam Bregman submitted a request April 30 for email and written correspondence between then-District Attorney and Gubernatorial candidate Susana Martinez, her campaign staff and the Third Judicial District Attorney’s office in 2009 and/or 2010.
The request follows recent reporting that Martinez’s 2010 campaign utilized the DA’s office for overtly political purposes. According to the Mother Jones report:

2014 Primary Election Voting Machines Are Now Certified and Ready For June 3
Los Alamos County Clerk Sharon Stover enters a sample ballot into one of 11 voting machines certified Wednesday afternoon at the County Clerk’s Office warehouse on the west side of the Municipal Building at 1000 Central Ave. The certification process included verifying that ballots were accepted whether fed into the machines in the front, back, top or bottom direction. County Council tonight voted 6-1 to move a single question forward to the voters in the Nov. 4,2014 election on proposed changes to the Utilities Ordinances in the Los Alamos County Charter, including a rewrite to Article 5. The changes update language and include giving Council authority over the Utilities Board to remove a board member in the event of undesirable behavior.
