Voters placed Kristen Henderson on top of the six-person race to fill three vacancies on the Los Alamos County Council, according to Tuesday’s unofficial election results. Henderson, a Democrat and an attorney who works as a Realtor for REMAX received 1,077 primary election votes.

Today is Primary Election Day – There is No Wrong Place to VOTE
Today, June 5 is Primary Election Day and Voter Convenience Centers (polling locations), are set up across Los Alamos County and available to all registered voters regardless of precinct.
Voter Convenience Centers are designed to give voters more flexibility on Election Day since they are not constrained to a specific polling location.
Voter Convenience Centers are open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. today at:
- Los Alamos Community Building, 475 20th St.
- White Rock Fire Station #3, 129 N.M. 4
- Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church, 3900 Trinity Dr. (Kelly Hall)
