Eliverio Acosta Is Top Predictor In Weekly Pace Race

ACRR News:

Eliverio Acosta was the best predictor in the Atomic City Road Runners (ACRR) weekly pace race held on the trail adjacent to the Rodeo Arena on North Mesa at 4 seconds off his predicted time. 

Other accurate predictors:

  • Luke Gibson, 11, with a 21 second differential;
  • Travis Gibson at 28 seconds off;
  • Eric Anderson recording a 29 second difference; and
  • Mary Knaak with a 35 second differential.

On the 1 mile course:

  • Zach Gibson, 13, was the first finisher at 6:20; and
  • Madeline Harms was the top female with a time of 8:40.

On the 3 mile course:

  • Paul Geimer was the best finisher recording an 18:23; and
  • Liz Peterson was the first female at 27:55.

Next week’s race is 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 2 on the Canada del Buey Trail in White Rock on Meadow Lane just west of Chamisa Elementary School. 1 and 3 mile runs will be available.
