Enterprise Bank & Trust announces the winners of its inaugural Enterprise Bank Scholarship Program, given to graduating seniors from Los Alamos High School.
Applicants were evaluated by the scholarship committee based on academic excellence, leadership experience and community volunteer work. Each recipient received a $2,000 scholarship.
“We were pleased to have such strong candidates apply for the first scholarship program,” said Liddie Martinez, Enterprise’s president of the Los Alamos region. “I’m excited to announce three very deserving recipients that I know are going to accomplish great things!”

Elektra Caffrey, Los Alamos
Elektra is the daughter of Josephine and Michael Caffrey. She serves as section leader for the LAHS Band and is the Los Alamos Chapter President of the National Art Honor Society. Elektra currently interns at Los Alamos National Laboratory. She aspires to study the application of artificial intelligence to combat climate change through clean energy generation and distribution and plans to pursue a degree in Computer Science at the University of New Mexico.
Katie Herrmann, Los Alamos
Katie is the daughter of Ryn and Hans Herrmann. She is the organizer of the Los Alamos Pet Parade, earning the Girl Scout Gold Award for her project. She is also a dedicated volunteer at the Los Alamos Animal Shelter, where she developed a Read to Dogs program to promote the improvement of reading skills for local youth. Katie plans to pursue a degree in Business at the University of New Mexico.
Alyssa Parker, White Rock
Alyssa is the daughter of Marsha and Robert Parker. She is the Captain of the Los Alamos High School Girls’ Varsity Soccer Team. She spent last semester shadowing a physical therapist at Los Alamos Medical Center. Alyssa plans to pursue a degree in Nursing at Brigham Young University.
