ESPAÑOLA – During a special ceremony June 16 at the YMCA Española Teen Center, Enterprise Bank & Trust Market President Liddie Martinez presented a $5,000 donation to the nonprofit organization.
Family YMCA CEO Chris Daniels and Española Teen Center Director Ben Sandoval received the donation during the presentation.
Martinez commended the team working at the Española Teen Center.
“Enterprise Bank is fortunate to have dedicated partners like the Española Teen Center. Ben and his team provide creative outlets for our kids while encouraging STEM activities in a safe space,” Martinez said. “They are a beacon in the valley.”
Daniels thanked Martinez saying, “Enterprise Bank & Trust is a true community partner. Their generous contributions help us to continue providing much needed services for youth at our Española Teen Center. Enterprise sponsors many other local organizations, which has a tremendous impact on the community members in need of the services they support. Community happens when we show up for each other and Enterprise definitely shows up!”
Sandoval has served as director of the YMCA Española Teen Center since it first opened in October 2007 at 808 Vietnam Veterans Memorial Park Road. He spoke about the recent $5,000 donation from Enterprise Bank.
“This contribution from Enterprise Bank will enhance the livelihood of teens within the valley,” Sandoval said. “We appreciate this support and thoughtfulness and on behalf of all the teens we want to say thank you!”
