Bruce Carlsten, a radio frequency engineer at Los Alamos National Laboratory, was awarded the 2020 Robert R. Wilson Prize for Achievement in the Physics of Particle Accelerators, presented by the American Physical Society.

Los Alamos Department Of Public Utilities Customers Can Save Up To $3,500 On New Electric Vehicle

COUNTY News:

The American Public Power Association (APPA) has teamed up with Nissan to offer rebates to public power communities on the all-electric 2019 Nissan LEAF.

Los Alamos is a public power community through its County-owned Department of Public Utilities (DPU). Customers and employees of the DPU are eligible for a $3,500 rebate when purchasing the 2019 LEAF standard edition and $2,500 when purchasing the ePlus edition. The offer ends Jan. 2, 2020.

In addition to the public power rebate, customers can also get up to $7,500 in federal electric vehicle (EV) tax credits.
