Learn more about African birds and large mammals at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19 in the Los Alamos Nature Center Planetarium, the Walkers and Coopers will share their photographs and stories from their trip to the Masai Mara in Kenya.

January’s Night Sky Planetarium show takes people on a tour of celestial objects easily viewed through binoculars. Discover a neighboring galaxy, planets, star clusters, nebulae, and double stars visible in the winter sky.

Snow Storm Covers Los Alamos County
County snow plows and sand spreaders were out in force on the main hill road and other streets throughout Los Alamos and White Rock today working to keep ahead of the storm.
