It’s a new year but you know old friends are the best, so come and catch up with long-time friends … that’s right … the Espanola Valley Opera Guild has been bringing opera to the community for 50 years at The DELTA.

“Posole Mio” is 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 21 at The Delta at 224 N. Paseo de Ornate in Espanola. The community is invited to gather together to eat fabulous posole and celebrate arts and music — including Spanish music, Broadway tunes, and a youth performance.

Charles MacKay, the outgoing general director of The Santa Fe Opera, will be joining the event.
