NPS News:
Jemez Springs – From Oct. 5 through Oct. 13, the National Park Service (NPS) will be hosting the Valles Caldera Fall Fiesta—a time to celebrate the rich natural beauty and cultural heritage of this special volcano.
Every day of the fiesta will feature ranger-guided programs, special guest speakers, artisans from local tribes and pueblos, cultural demonstrations, and learning activities.
Along with bugling bull elk and glimmering fall colors, this is a fantastic time to visit Valles Caldera National Preserve for the first time or the hundredth.
Visit the Fall Fiesta web page (https://www.nps.gov/vall/planyourvisit/fall-fiesta.htm) for additional details about each day’s activities.
