Los Alamos County Atomic City Transit Route 2M (Main Hill) and Dial-A-Rice Services will be suspended starting at 11:25 a.m. today through the remainder of the day due to a staffing shortage.

Route 2M passengers should utilize Route 2T for service to White Rock. Route 6 Peak service will end at 5:05 p.m. so riders should use the regular hourly Route 6 bus service.

SANTA FE — New Mexico state health officials announced 5,547 new COVID-19 cases today.

Los Alamos County reported 15 new cases today, bringing the total to 1,439 people who have tested positive for COVID-19. (County totals are subject to change upon further investigation and determination of residency of individuals positive for COVID-19.)

This update includes 36 new deaths in New Mexico related to COVID-19 and a 7-Day positivity rate of 27.8 percent.

Effective Immediately Atomic City Transit (ACT) Route 2M (Main Hill), Route 6 Peak and Dial-a-Ride services are suspended through the remainder of the day due to a staffing shortage.

Riders should plan to use Route 2T (Truck Route) and fixed Route 6, which will continue to operate on regular schedule 5:55 a.m. until 6:58 p.m. Monday through Friday.

New Mexico Health Department: Temporary System Disruption Impacts COVID-19 Reporting

…Technical issue artificially lowered daily case count, has now been resolved

SANTA FE: The New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH) has announced that a temporary disruption in the electronic lab reporting (ELR) feed occurred that impacted the number of new COVID-19 case counts announced Tuesday by the NMDOH. 

The anomaly resulted in an artificial lowering of new COVID-19 cases as reported in Tuesday’s daily case count press release.
