Los Alamos County and the New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH) will hold a vaccination clinic Monday, Feb. 22 in Griffith Gymnasium at Los Alamos High School, 1300 Diamond Dr.
Eligible Los Alamos residents who are registered on the NMDOH should have already received an email or a text message with information on how to schedule an appointment.

State Issues Vaccine Registration Step-By-Step Checklist

The New Mexico Aging & Long-Term Services Department (ALTSD) reminds citizens to keep in mind the supply of vaccine is extremely limited.
The goal is for everyone to be able to easily get a COVID-19 vaccine when sufficient quantities are available.
Until that time, the New Mexico Department of Health is rolling the vaccine out in a phased approach. Groups 1A and 1B are eligible at this time. That includes people 75 or older and people 16 or older who have high-risk medical conditions.

The Los Alamos School Board met for a regular meeting Tuesday, Feb. 9. President Melanie Colgan opened the meeting by recognizing Los Alamos High School (LAHS) Librarian Shannon Seitz and her student assistant, Kira Lorenc, for contributions to Black History Month.

SANTA FE — The New Mexico Department of Health (DOH) Thursday shared an update about key legislation intended to combat congenital syphilis in New Mexico.
Syphilis during pregnancy can lead to serious birth defects and infant death – and is entirely preventable with timely testing and treatment of pregnant mothers.
