New Mexico Small Businesses To Share In 171,000 Cloth Face Coverings For Employees And Customers

SANTA FE — The state of New Mexico is partnering with various business organizations to give 171,000 cloth face coverings to small businesses around the state for free distribution to workers and customers who don’t have their own.

In the news media, both national and local politicians say the COVID virus will be managed “according to science”. I presume they mean that the virus is transmitted mainly by exhaled droplets, and therefore that officials may claim scientific reasoning to impose social distancing and face coverings.

New Mexico Human Services Department: Changes To Curbside Operations; Limited Lobby Hours Begin June 22

SANTA FE — The New Mexico Human Services Department announced Friday that the Income Support Division and Child Support Enforcement Division field offices curbside and limited lobby hours are changing effective Monday, June 22 to allow staff to safely continue serving customers during the warmer summer days ahead.
All Income Support and Child Support field office curbside and limited lobby hours are 10 a.m. to noon daily.
